Storing merchandise

At Lager.de you can store just about anything you want. In addition to private belongings or business equipment, you can also use it to store merchandise. Our business customers can use Lager.de to store the things they want to sell later and benefit from our services.

But what exactly is merchandise? When we hear merchandise, we think of trading goods, which, in turn, somehow sounds like the Middle Ages, like trading an apple for a pear. The term is used quite differently today. The concept is the same though.

Businesses buy commodities that they don’t modify and then sell them at a higher price. This phenomenon can be observed in a wholesale market, for example. Most often, things are much cheaper there than in the supermarket in your neighbourhood.

Anything that isn’t perishable, like food, can be stored at Lager.de. Therefore, many businesses out there could potentially use LAGER.de. Thanks to our wide range of storage unit sizes, you won’t ever have to pay for space that you don’t actually need.

Self Storage sizes at Lager.de

The XS box size with 1.78 square metres can hold about 30 boxes. This box is suitable as a cellar replacement or for storing materials.

The size S box already offers twice as much space: About 60 boxes fit on 3.55 square metres, which is comparable to the complete furniture of a 30-square-metre flat. In a 3.55-square-metre box, you can also safely store your motorbike in a specially created motorcycle storage area, including accessories such as clothing or small spare parts.

The size M box offers 7.10 square metres of space, which corresponds to the furniture of a two-room flat (60 square metres). If you want to store merchandise there, it will fit around 120 boxes.

Box L can hold 180 boxes on 10.65 square metres, or the furniture of a 3-room flat with 90 square metres.

At 14.2 square metres, the XL box is our biggest box. This is enough room for the complete furniture of a four-room apartment of 120 square metres and for 240 moving boxes containing, say, surplus production or equipment. Needless to say, this will also hold a large amount of merchandise.

Security at Lager.de

One important aspect for all our customers is security: With coded access to the park and video surveillance, your belongings are protected and safe. Other components: There is a fence around the well-lit premises and a direct link to a security company.

Every unit is protected with an individual padlock. All our storage units are clean and dry. Since outdoor storage parks are ground-level by default, the distance to your unit is short. Loading and unloading are conveniently possible right in front of your storage box. In terms of price, there is also usually a clear advantage compared to indoor storage units.
