Lager.de lets out storage units for private and business customers with a minimum rental period of six months.

The rental period starts from 6 months. Motorbike storage boxes are the only exception, which have a minimum rental period of one year. If you want to change your storage unit size, please don’t hesitate to call us. Our support team is available Mondays to Fridays between 8am and 9pm, and 8am to 5pm on Saturdays.

Nobody. However, you can give authorise other people to have access.

You buy a lock when signing the lease. However, we don’t have on-site packaging shop.

Furniture, household belongings, files, merchandise, and all kinds of equipment. But please think of your neighbours. The sheet metal dividing your unit from theirs can’t hold off everything, soaking wet goods, for example. Your stored goods should be dry. Also, we don’t recommend storing photo paper. The same goes for antique treasures, or antiques that have already been stored in a very dry environment for 25 to 30 years. All other antiques are safe to store.

This is up to what we agree on beforehand. The list includes: organic matter, fuels such as petrol or diesel, gas bottles, paint, and herbs. What is definitely NOT allowed to be stored are things with very, very high value, as a storage unit is not a locker box. Naturally, weapons, drugs, counterfeit money, or the like may not be stored either.

We do not have on-site staff.

The units are about 2,41 metres high. Individual boxes may differ.

The storage units work like a garage, where temperatures depend on the season. After a few weeks, the items in the box may freeze, but they do not work like a ship container. The temperature trajectory is stable. Sudden shifts in temperature are bad for most storage goods.

Yes, the premises is under video surveillance at all times. It is also fenced.

Your unit is secured with a code not a transponder. You are free to share the code with anyone that you see fit.

You can book a storage unit online or by calling us. All you need is a valid bank account to pay the subsequent rent and for us to refund your deposit, so the money you get back. You can pay the first rent and the deposit of a month’s rent via bank transfer, credit card, instant transfer, or PayPal.

We’re completely flexible. You can reduce your storage unit size after the first month. An increase in size is often possible immediately. However, in both cases, the requirement is that we have a unit with the desired size available. Please also feel free to contact us about this anytime.

The best thing to do is ask us in advance which units are available. However, we are flexible. After a signing the lease, you can move in on the same day.
