Family Education

Who wouldn't want to have a small family with a regular income, possibly even with a pet?

But owning your own home has become anything but a matter of course. Apartments are becoming more and more expensive, houses more and more unaffordable, even rental prices are rising sharply.

In addition to the desire to have their own family, however, many people also have a strong desire for a good career. Fortunately, gender roles have now changed so that both the man and the woman can have a career.

Only family planning is made much more difficult as a result. In many families there is no other way - due to inflation and rising energy and food prices, both the man and the woman have to work.

How to reconcile family and job

When the Corona pandemic broke out at the beginning of 2020, many companies had to send their employees home. Working at the company was considered too dangerous.

This brought both advantages and disadvantages. For one thing, many employees no longer received their full salaries. Companies were not doing so well and many companies had to send their employees on short-time work.

However, some employees were able to pursue their work from their desks at home. What was considered a novelty at the time established itself as a practical work model in the period following the lockdowns and the high Corona numbers.

Significantly more employees now do their work from home, and in many companies it is common practice.

It's much more practical, especially for families.

When you work from home, you can always keep an eye on your offspring without having to worry or hire babysitters. Plus, you save the commute to and from work, and can be with your family right after work.

High rental prices

Still, it's not quite that easy as a young family. Finding an affordable apartment has become a witch's work. Rents are rising sharply, especially in the inner cities.

This is mainly due to urbanization. More and more young people want to live in the city and enjoy the benefits of short commutes. There's simply more going on there - from longer opening hours, a tight network of public transportation, better infrastructure and, above all, more jobs.

That's why apartments in the city are increasingly in demand. If you do get hold of an apartment, it's often not very big. In a three-room apartment, for example, the third room would actually have to be used as a children's room.

But if you work in a home office, a study is also an advantage.

Where to put all the stuff?

So what do you do with all your stuff when you don't have too much space at home?

The trend is not only towards urbanization, but also towards not having proper basement compartments or storage rooms anymore.

And even if you do, basements are usually unsuitable for storing sensitive items because they get damp, for example.

So the best option is self-storage.

There you can rent storage rooms and store your belongings in them - without any humidity or temperature problems and also very safe. These criteria can also be found at Lager.de.

There is a comprehensive security concept and the greatest possible flexibility. For example, you can always access your box with a personalized code on a video-monitored site, no matter whether it's noon at two o'clock or noon at night.

In addition, if you need more or less space at short notice, you can easily switch to a smaller or larger box. This brings us to the next advantage. There are many different box sizes, which offer the right choice for every space requirement.

The storage can be booked online here.
